I think that the title of this talk is a question that the speaker has asked himself. His answer will reflect on his past and present experience. It will give experienced birders and bird photographers a chance to compare notes and for those not currently engaged in bird photography, it may be the inspiration you need to get started.
Dr. Patrick Dorion is a semi-retired, long-time colleague in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at Geisinger where he is a staff surgical pathologist and hematopathologist. For many years, he was Director of the Hematology Laboratory (Peripheral blood, bone marrow and coagulation).
He has been a valued mentor, teacher and consultant to many in the laboratory and on the physician staff at Geisinger. He is a member of the Columbia-Montour Photography Club. He and his wife Sue, enjoy birding, photography, kayaking and travel.
