February 16, 2020 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at 7:30 PM at Kelly Township Supervisors’ Building (551 Zeigler RD/Lewisburg, PA)

Glistening-green Tanagers, Booted Racket-tails, Cock-of-the-Rock, and Red-headed Barbets are just a few of the colorful birds featured in this program of the birding adventures encountered during a 20-day trip to Ecuador this fall. With over 1700 species of birds in this small South American country, there are lots to explore from the Amazon rainforest to 13,000ft. high in the Andes mountains. Hummingbirds and brightly colored tanagers feature greatly in this program, as well as the monkeys, tayras, coatis and other interesting animals found there!

Lauri Shaffer is an avid birder and photographer, enjoys traveling, and presenting educational programs. She is a former English as a Second Language teacher.
