SUMMARY:October Saturday Bird Walk
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, October 2 at 8AM \nSeven Mountains Audubon will host a Walk in Penn’s Woods as one of its First Saturday Birdwalks. The trail we will use in R.B. Winter State Park is reasonably well-maintained with some graveled portions and some ups and downs\, though it is all low to moderate in effort. We expect to see a good selection of migrating fall warblers\, with maybe some raptors and woodland birds like woodcocks thrown in. Estimated mileage about 3 mi at a slow pace. Meet at the parking lot off Rt. 192 at Halfway Run at 8AM and we will caravan to the trailhead. This walk is not stroller or wheelchair accessible.
