DESCRIPTION:Sunday October 15\, 2023\, 9:00 am to about 11:00 am\, depending on birdiness\nDale’s Ridge Trail\nTrip Co-Leaders: Deepak Iyer and Joe Gyekis\n\nMeet at the main parking lot at Dale’s Ridge beside the bridge and walk along Buffalo Creek and up the side of the bluff\, looking for fall migrants as we always do in October! Walking speed will be slow\, birder speed\, but one part is fairly steep\, it’s OK if people just join for the easy part along the creek\, and if birding is busy\, we might not even scale the slope at all. DESCRIPTION:Wednesday\, October 18\, 2023 at 7 PM\nEast Buffalo Township Municipal Building\, 589 Fairground Rd\, Lewisburg\, PA 17837\n\n\nI think that the title of this talk is a question that the speaker has asked himself. His answer will reflect on his past and present experience. It will give experienced birders and bird photographers a chance to compare notes and for those not currently engaged in bird photography\, it may be the inspiration you need to get started.\nDr. Patrick Dorion is a semi-retired\, long-time colleague in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at Geisinger where he is a staff surgical pathologist and hematopathologist. For many years\, he was Director of the Hematology Laboratory (Peripheral blood\, bone marrow and coagulation).\nHe has been a valued mentor\, teacher and consultant to many in the laboratory and on the physician staff at Geisinger. He is a member of the Columbia-Montour Photography Club. He and his wife Sue\, enjoy birding\, photography\, kayaking and travel.\nThis program will be in person and it will also be live-streamed on Seven Mountains Facebook.\n\n
