DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, November 4\n9-11AM \nSeven Mountains Audubon’s first Saturday bird walk will be combined with the Wings Over Water Event scheduled for Montour Preserve as listed below. Follow the Directions on the Montour Preserve Event notice at https://www.facebook.com/events/1377079209549166?ref=newsfeed \n\nThe annual autumn waterfowl migration will be well under way and this event will provide a great opportunity to observe ducks\, geese\, and other water birds while they stop at lakes and ponds for a time before moving farther south for the winter.\nWe will begin at the Goose Cove Overlook on Lake Chillisquaque for a broad overview of the lake. From there\, we will make our way to other vantage points around the lake.\nDress for the weather and plan for some walking. He will discuss what individuals can do to prevent unwanted interactions with black bears\, especially as related to the feeding of wild birds. This is a live\, in person program and the program will also be live streamed and recorded on the Seven Mountains Audubon Facebook Group page.
