SUMMARY:December Show and Tell and 50th Anniversary Celebration of Seven Mountains Audubon
DESCRIPTION:Wednesday\, December 20\, 2023 AT 7 PM\n589 Fairground Rd\, Lewisburg\, PA\n\nGreetings everyone – It’s the time of year for us to gather for our Holiday Show-and-Tell program which will be held on Wednesday\, December 20th. The meeting begins at 7:00 pm\, but the doors will be open earlier.\nAs is our tradition\, we will share all sorts of nature-related items – photographs\, books\, poems\, quotes\, crafts or whatever else you can imagine! We hope you will bring something to share with our group. If you prefer not to\, still come and enjoy the camaraderie of the season. If you have photographs to share\, please try to arrive by around 6:30 so that picture files can be loaded on the computer in advance.\nWe are excited to mark Seven Mountains Audubon’s 50th anniversary at this meeting. As a special treat Allen and Joanne Schweinsberg will be with us to share their memories of the history of our chapter. They were involved almost from the start having taken over the Christmas Bird count in 1974! All are welcome and encouraged to share their own memories and highlights from their connection to Seven Mountain’s first half-century.\nAs part of our refreshments we will have a special sheet cake decorated with the Seven Mountain’s logo and some bird photos. We will have other refreshments too so plan to stay afterward and visit awhile.\nJoin us at our New meeting location\, the East Buffalo Township building\, 589 Fairground Road\, Lewisburg. Everyone is welcome to this free event and please feel free to come and bring a friend or two.\nHappy Holidays – see you on the 20th!\n\n\n
